I translated three songs from the album Go Grey (Megan Remy, Siltbreeze records) by U.S. Girls into three images. I love the gritty, off-pop sound of the songs on this album. By freely associating while listening to this album all kinds of stuff wormed its way in. Shady Hollywood business, fading starlets, the movie Barfly, the Civil War, to name a few.

Ik vertaalde drie tracks van het Album Go Grey (Megan Remy, Siltbreeze records) van U.S. Girls in drie beelden. Ik was gefascineerd door de gruizige, off-pop sound van de nummers op dit album. Door vrij associeren terwijl ik constant naar het album luisterde drongen zich allerlei beelden op. Deals in Hollywood die het daglicht niet kunnen verdragen, aan lager wal geraakte sterretjes, de film Barfly, de Amerikaanse burgeroorlog, om er een paar te noemen.
